Brace Yourself!

Brace Yourself is a covers band, based in West London.

The band has been together for over 16 years, playing its first gig in 2007. This five piece now has over three hours worth of covers music upon which to call.

If Brace Yourself differs from other covers bands it is because it plays music old and new. As well as expected favourites, such as Sweet Home Alabama, Suspicious Minds and Proud Mary, you are just as likely to hear Uptown Funk and Ed Sheeran’s Sing.

The band, which specialises in keeping a dance floor full, has played many an auspicious venue, mainly in and around London, including Bush Hall, Cargo in Shoreditch and Proud in Camden. The Punch and Judy in Covent Garden, and The Shakespeare in Victoria also number among venues the band has played. As well as London, Brace Yourself has been known to travel, which, last summer, saw the band perform at Durham Castle. See here for a full list of venues at which the band has been seen.
